We’ve seen a few pics from the set of Transformers 3 of Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley filming together, and must ‘fess, even though Megan “never” would have come back for a third movie, we’ve been missing the big-mouthed brunette. We heart her! Especially Fox and Shia together (platonically of course, since Meg’s a married woman now).

So is the new Megan Fox holding her own with the veteran crew? And what’s the heat level like between Rosie and Shia? Here’s scoop straight from the Transformers 3 set about Michael Bay’s casting gamble:

We talked with Transformers 3 producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura earlier this week and got him to break it down: Is the Victoria’s Secret model simply filling the hot-girl quota needed in a blockbuster franchise? “Well, Rosie is pretty hot,” laughed Lorenzo. “But she’s been great. She has a fantastic attitude, and she’s been having a lot of fun.”

Movie star won’t miss the hit sci-fi series.

Megan Fox isn’t a bit bothered that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has replaced her in Transformers 3.

‘It was time to move on,’ says Megan, who found fame in 2007 as Mikaela Banes in the first Transformers
film.

‘I wanted to try other things. But I will miss working with Shia LaBeouf. He’s such a good guy and we became very good friends.’

The actress has just finished filming Jonah Hex with Josh Brolin and John Malkovich.

She found her role in the movie a nice change from running away from alien robots all the time.

‘She’s a prostitute,’ Megan, 24 – who squeezes into an 18in-waist corset to play Lilah – tells the Sun.

‘People think I’m weird, but I loved it. I wanted it as tight as it would possibly go.’

Shia LaBeouf has confessed he misses working with Megan Fox on Transformers.

The actor, who stars as Sam Witwicky in the robot action movies, is currently shooting Transformers 3 in Los Angeles alongside Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who plays his character’s new love interest, after Megan decided not to return.

Shia told USA Today: “I love Megan and I miss the girl, but Sam and Mikaela became one character, and here… you have discovery again from a new perspective.”

Megan Fox is seeking to transform rumor to fact. The actress is slamming speculation she was booted from the third installment of the Transformers action film franchise.

“Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3,” reps for the actress, 24, tell PEOPLE. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Citing unnamed sources, Variety reports the studio and the film’s director, Michael Bay, intend to cast another actress as star Shia LaBeouf’s love interest to move the story in a different direction.

Shooting for the film, slated for a July 2011 release, is expected to kick off this summer in locations across the U.S.

Fox, meanwhile, is prepping for the June 18 release of Jonah Hex, an action film she stars in opposite Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett.

Megan Fox has announced that she is willing to do anything in Transformers 3. Said Fox in an interview in Hollywood, “I don’t like the way that the movie ticket sales are going for this one. We should be selling more tickets and bringing in more money. If it will boost our box office for the next movie, I’m willing to do whatever it takes.”

“I’m sure that seeing my hot, sweaty, glistening body would make those giant robot thingies just stop in their tracks and stare. I mean, that works for most men I meet anyway. They all see to like checking me out, and I’m kind of a tease or flirt about it too.”

Megan, who has already gone topless in “Jennifer’s Body,” added that she does have the hots for someone on their set. “Just the thought of Optimus Prime and that piston pumping power of his makes me wet!”

In conclusion, Fox added that “this nudity would have to be something that moves the story forward, of course. I wouldn’t do it just to show off my titties or collect the extra two million in payment that the studio has offered me. It will have to be tasteful.”

Paramount Pictures confirmed today that Grey’s Anatomy hottie Patrick Dempsey has been cast in Michael Bay’s third installment of the Transformers franchise. The plot of the third film is being kept under wraps but we have learned that Dempsey will play Megan Fox’s boss in a role that is “significant to the plot.” The movie begins filming this month around the U.S. and in Africa, Moscow and China.

The last two Transformers movies have grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide. Paramount Pictures will bow Transformers 3 next summer.

Did you hear who’s on board for Transformers 3? Director Michael Bay says John Malkovich and Frances McDormand will be joining Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox in the next installment of the action franchise.

“Both amazing actors I’ve always wanted to work with. We also just got Ken Jeong. He is the super funny actor stuck in the trunk from Hangover and the doctor from Knocked Up.”

Josh Duhamel recently confirmed that he’ll be back as Lennox in Transformers 3, which is set for release in July 2011. Duhamel told CinemaBlend that he met with director Michael Bay on Thursday (March 18) and that the Transformers 3 script, penned by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen co-writer Ehren Kruger, is now complete. Unknown is what rank Lennox will have achieved, since he was a captain in the first film and a major in the second. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, perhaps?

Also returning for the trilogy are Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, and Tyrese Gibson. They’re aiming to start filming this summer, with major action sequences reportedly scheduled for Moscow and Chicago.

Here is some more exciting information about new Transformers 3 movie that has been posted on Michael Bay’s official website.

Michael Bay is a man to be taken seriously, so we should believe his claim that his huge robots will now bring their destructive energy to the Russian capital, as Transformers 3 is set to film some episodes in Moscow.

“…There will be big action sequences shot in Chicago and Moscow this time around,” said a message appearing on Bay’s web-page regarding the next Transformers movie.

The sequel, which is planned to be released in July 2011, starts shooting in May. Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf, who starred in Transformers 2, have already confirmed their participation in the next of Bay’s humans-against-robots project.

Ehren Kruger’s script, which appeared on the Internet at the end of December 2009, indicates that part of the action will take place in the past. Bay earlier promised that his next Transformers would not go for more and bigger explosions, instead delving into the robots mythos and becoming “darker”.
