In the forthcoming action film project, Shia LaBeouf will team up once again with Megan Fox and helmer Michael Bay.
In the next few months, Shia LaBeouf will reprise his role as Sam Witwicky in “Transformers 3″. According to Mike Fleming from Deadline Hollywood, which reported that the actor moves to CAA Agency, the upcoming movie will kick off principal photography in May this year. Additionally, Screen Crave mentioned that Paramount Pictures is considering to shoot the film in 3-D.
Beside LaBeouf, Megan Fox has signed on for the film. She will be seen portraying Mikaela Banes, the mutual love interest of Sam, for the third time. The actress has previously got promise from director Michael Bay that she will get a “great part” in the next installment of “Transformers” film franchise.
The man behind the first movie and its sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, who will return to the same position for “Transformers 3″, has also confirmed that the release date for the forthcoming film has been moved up a year from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2011. Bay will also serve as producer alongside Steven Spielberg.

An insider is telling Bloody Disgusting that Warner Bros. Pictures is prepping a few new weeks of shooting for their comic book adaptation of Jonah Hex, which is slated for release on June 18, 2010. Jimmy Hayward , who directed the DC comics adaptation, is getting back behind the camera with Francis Lawrence – the man behind I Am Legend and Constantine – consulting. This has been confirmed. Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon all star. Hex (played by Brolin), known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood.

Let’s face it, every year there’s only a handful of movies that everyone who dares call himself a fanboy is dying to see. 2010 is no exception, with titles like “Iron Man 2″, “Prince of Persia”, and “Jonah Hex” on the slate, to name just three. Here is our extremely early preview of the 10 movies you should be keeping an eye on and we’ll be following very closely ahead of their Summer 2010 launch. Some are more fanboyish than others, but they’re all definitely intriguing.
9. Jonah Hex (June 18)
Serious actor guy Josh Brolin slips on the comic book movie boots for an old fashioned Wild West showdown — complete with a trampy Megan Fox and a villainous John Malkovich in the sidecar. Tell me you ain’t tempted and I’m calling you a liar. The film hit a bump or two on its road to being realized, but one thing’s for sure — it’s going to prove Josh Brolin’s bankability as a movie star. He’s either a very good actor, period, or he’s a good actor who also happens to be a movie star. “Jonah Hex” will tell the tale. And besides, how long has it been since we’ve been treated to a good ol fashion Western shoot’em up with a Hollywood budget? Throw in some supernatural curve balls and the film’s comic book roots, and like the leading man’s face, there won’t be a whole lot of “typical” in this one, folks.

Earlier today we posted some new photos from the live-action adaptation of “The Losers,” and now we have a new “Jonah Hex” image popping up online, too.
As with the “Losers” pics, the new “Jonah Hex” promo image popped up on Omelete this weekend. It looks to be promotional shot for the film, and features Josh Brolin looking appropriately grim and gritty as the scarred ex-confederate bounty hunter.
The new “Hex” image is certainly a welcome break in the long period of silence surrounding the project, which has provided few details about the film and only a small collection of images — official and otherwise.
Last we heard from the “Jonah Hex” camp, rock band Mastodon had offered a few details about their contribution to the film’s score, and DC had announced a new “Jonah Hex” graphic novel timed for release alongside the film. Actress Megan Fox, who co-stars with Brolin in the film, also offered some thoughts on her role — though she admitted her character wasn’t going to be around for the long haul.
Directed by Jimmy Hayward, “Jonah Hex” is currently scheduled for a June 2010 release.
