Contrary to a previous report, the Megan Fox drama Passion Play will not be heading straight to DVD without a theatrical run. A rep for the film confirms to Entertainment Weekly that the off-beat thriller — starring Mickey Rourke as a musician who gets tangled up with a gangster (Bill Murray) and a circus freak (Megan Fox) — will have a limited release in New York City and Los Angeles starting May 6 before heading to home video on May 31. We’ve also got your exclusive first look at the theatrical poster, which hints at Fox’s feathery character without giving much information about the plot. The film was widely panned at last year’s Toronto Film Festival, but a theatrical release will let audiences decide for themselves how, well, passionate they feel about it.
