Megan Fox is an American actress who was born on May 16, 1986 in Rockwood, Tennessee. She grew up in a strict household maintained by her mother and stepfather. She started her acting career in 2001 with several small television roles. Her movie career begun in 2004 with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen where she appeared together with Lindsay Lohan. Later followed some very successful movies like Transformers in 2007, or her horror comedy Jennifer's Body in 2009. Megan Fox has admitted to being a huge fan of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and regularly uses internet forums dedicated to the films.

According to PopEater, the 24-year-old star displayed an extensive knowledge of J.R.R. Tolkien’s literary classics at the press day for new film Jonah Hex, and revealed that she is frustrated by fans that criticise Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning adaptations.

She said: “[Fans] complain that Frodo is eating the Lembas bread outside of Mordor instead of the in the Mines of Moria. And they get really mad.”

“You cannot focus completely on pleasing them because you’ll never win. They’ll never be happy no matter what you do.”

“Peter Jackson and company won like 30-something Oscars for those movies,” she added.

Onlookers at the conference were reportedly “impressed” and “stunned” by Fox’s rant, with her Hex co-star Josh Brolin describing the incident as “cool”.

Fox, who is engaged to Brian Austin Green, has previously expressed her desire to date a “geek”.
